Get fit and feel better every day this month!
The 30 Day Virtual Challenge is a month long fitness program with daily fitness themes and workouts! 6 Days per week you will recieve a fitness tip/activity and a workout. The tips and workouts are chosen by the BP Fitness Center staff. We will feature our fun BP Fitness Center online virtual content and resources you can access and do at home.
The daily tips and workouts are posted on the BP Fitness Center Yammer page and the BP Fitness Center website-- one day at a time. A tracking sheet is provided for members to track daily activities and workouts. There will be opportunities to earn wellbeing points and participate in special events like 5K’s and a nutrition webinar.
Participants can share photos, tips, comments and their own fitness tips and recipes on the BP Fitness yammer site each day.
Tracking sheets submitted at the end of the month can be submitted to the BP Fitness Center for recognition of those who completed every activity over the course of the month. There will be prizes as well.
- Sign up is easy-- just download the tracking sheet (available October 1st) and start doing the daily challenges. You will turn the tracking sheet in at the end of the month.
- BP Fitness Staff members each chose a week to create your programming. Each day has a tip theme and a workout
- Daily tips: Monday – nutrition, Tuesday – flexibility, Wednesday – mind/body, Thursday – lifestyle, Friday – fitness hack, Saturday – bonus workout selected by staff
- RD Karleigh Jurek will provide the Nutrition tip/activity each Monday.
- BP Fitness Center Website and BP Fitness Yammer Page will be our primary communication and posting platforms for the challenge.
- BP Yammer is only available to BP employees and contractors--but the content will be the same in both places, posted the afternoon before.
- Earning 75 Wellbeing points
- BP employees, spouses and retirees can earn 75 wellbeing points for completing 10 instructor led video classes and filling out the accompanying report form. Details and instructions are found here.
- Participating in one of the 2 sponsored 5K’s going on during the month. Reporting instructions are here.
- Tracking sheet
- A PDF download-able tracking sheet will be available for all participants to use and document their daily participation in our challenges.
- Join our BPFC Strava Running/Walk Group (its free) for tracking your outdoor activites and challenges. More about joining here.
- We want to hear from you! Participants will have opportunities to share pics, tips, comments and recipes on the BP Fitness Center Yammer page!
- Scoring/Recognition:
- Completed tracking sheets can be signed and submitted to Stephen Salazar for submission in a prize drawing.
- Those with the highest participation days will be recognized on the BP Fitness Center Yammer page, our website and in our BP Fitness e-newsletter!
